You've Been Assuming Things About Us

We'll go first.

Here's what people assume about K & Hart before they ever sit in our chair, and what's actually true.

You assume: Luxury pricing means a stiff, cold experience.

Actually: We cried at a bride's trial last month. Happy tears. It happens more than you'd think.

Luxury doesn't mean we suddenly forget how to be human.

You assume: We only do one "look," and everyone leaves matching.

Actually: We've done sleek and polished in the same week as undone beach waves. Soft glam, full glam, barely-there glam.

We're not trying to make you look like a K & Hart bride.

We're trying to make you look like you.

You assume: Because we're in high demand, we're hard to reach or slow to respond.

Actually: There isn't some mysterious corporate office behind the curtain. You're talking to actual humans who know your wedding, your plans, and your name.

Wild concept, we know. πŸ˜‚

You assume: A team this good must be intimidating to work with.

Actually: We've been called "the big sisters I never had" more times than we can count.

That's the whole vibe on purpose.

We know our shit. We just don't need to make you nervous about it.

You assume: We only do weddings on sunny, easy, Pinterest-perfect days.

Actually: We've worked through rain, wind, 95-degree heat, mountain weather that changed its mind every twelve seconds, and veils with escape plans.

Pretty weather is lovely.

Knowing what to do when it isn't? Better.

You assume: Booking a "collective" means you get whoever's available that day.

Actually: "Collective" doesn't mean beauty-artist roulette. πŸ˜‚

You know who's doing your hair and who's doing your makeup, and you'll have met them before your wedding morning.

No surprise strangers showing up at your door with a curling iron.

You assume: We show up, do the job, and leave.

Actually: We leave our Backup Kitβ„’ behind with the things you might need once we're gone.

Because "what if?" is kind of our favorite question to answer before you have to ask it.

You assume: More experience means less personal attention.

Actually: Experience is why we notice the little shit.

The way you keep touching that one piece of hair. The expression you make when something isn't quite right. The tiny detail you might not know how to explain yet.

We've learned to pay attention.

You assume: A destination or elopement wedding means settling for less than a full luxury experience.

Actually: We've brought luxury skin prep, professional hair and makeup, and the same damn standards to mountaintops that we bring to ballrooms.

Location changes the logistics.

It never changes the quality.

You assume: We're precious about our process and don't take feedback well.

Actually: Tell us it's too much. Tell us it's not enough. Tell us you thought you'd love that piece by your face and now you absolutely fucking hate it. πŸ˜‚

We'd genuinely rather you say something at your trial than think it silently on your wedding day.

Our feelings aren't the ones that matter when you're sitting in that chair.

The Bottom Line

Luxury doesn't have to mean quiet rooms, intimidating artists, or taking yourself way too seriously.

Around here, it looks a lot more like being ridiculously prepared, paying attention to the tiny things, giving a damn about how you feel, and probably laughing with you while we do it.

That's K & Hart 🀍
